TNFR-1 is an important member of the death receptor family that shares the capability of inducing apoptotic cell death.
TNFR1 (p55): Often expressed ubiquitously, TNFR1 can mediate both apoptotic and survival signals. In some cancers, its upregulation has been associated with increased inflammatory signaling and may contribute to tumor progression through NF-κB activation.
