TILs, tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs): Click to Expand ⟱
Source:
Type:
Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) are a type of immune cell that infiltrates the tumor microenvironment. TILs are a heterogeneous population of lymphocytes, including T cells, B cells, and natural killer (NK) cells, that migrate into the tumor tissue.
High levels of TILs in the tumor microenvironment are often correlated with better clinical outcomes, including improved survival rates and response to therapy.
